An exclusive overnight experience.

An overnight retreat for emerging wedding and family photographers who want to grow their business without burnout, build genuine confidence, and finally connect with a creative community that gets it.

What you walk away with

  • Fresh portfolio images, ready to share
  • New headshots for your own branding
  • Clarity on who you're speaking to and where your business is heading
  • A practical plan to create momentum after the retreat

If this sounds familiar

You didn't start photography
to feel stuck.

But right now, you might be:

— Struggling to book consistently

— Overwhelmed by where to focus next

— Posting inconsistently, low on content

— Building your business alone

And deep down, you know:
you're capable of more — you just don't know how to get there.

The solution

Not a course.
A transformation.

The Creative Retreat is a guided overnight experience designed to help you reset your mindset, elevate your portfolio, and reconnect with your creative direction — surrounded by photographers who get it.

This isn't a course. This isn't passive learning. This is a hands-on, in-person transformation built into 24 hours away from the noise.

What you'll experience

Four sessions.
One unforgettable night.

Photographers shooting a couple at golden hour

01 — Portfolio elevation

A styled shoot,
shot together.

A professionally curated styled couples shoot you'll shoot side-by-side. Add high-quality imagery to your portfolio, build confidence shooting real setups, and walk away with marketing-ready content.

An artist's table set up with paints and brushes

02 — Creative confidence

Mindful art
with Leyla.

A self-discovery art workshop guided by Leyla — a Therapeutic Art Facilitator from Mindful Art Space, specialising in helping people regulate, connect, and create. We'll focus on overcoming the fear of the unknown, stepping into an abundant mindset, and gaining real clarity on your business direction.

An intimate retreat space

03 — Creative connections

Dinner around
the fire.

An intimate networking dinner over fire — the kind of meal that builds genuine industry relationships and turns six other photographers into a long-term support network.

The retreat workshop space

04 — Mindset & Q&A

The business side,
honestly.

A mindset workshop with Kenzi — a full-time wedding photographer of over ten years — followed by an open Q&A. Ask her anything, whether it's a specific block in your business or how to achieve a certain photography style. No question off-limits.

The Station at Kapunda — a heritage building turned retreat space

The Venue

The Station
at Kapunda.

A restored heritage railway station an hour north of Adelaide, turned into luxury group accommodation — designed to feel inspiring, grounded, and slightly removed from everyday noise.

You'll have your own bed, your own space to retreat between sessions, and a setting where you can finally think clearly about your business again.

How does the application process work? +

Once you submit the form, I review every application personally. Within 48 hours I'll reach out — if it feels like a fit, we'll jump on a short call to talk through the retreat, pricing, and any questions. If it's not quite right this time, I'll be honest about why.
