Big on family. Big on showing up for my people. Always up to hear your story.
I’m a wedding and family photographer based in South Australia. I’m here for the real moments, connections, and photographs that remind you how it all felt.
Documenting God's creation while making you feel accepted, loved, and celebrated.
Here for the real version of you.
More than someone with a camera
People first. Always.
Family and quality time mean a lot to me. So does showing up for the people who come into my life. I want to know your story, the people you love, and the things that make you feel most like yourself.
I’ve been photographing weddings since 2014, and families for even longer. What has stayed with me is how much it matters to feel comfortable with the person behind the camera.
My hope is that you can relax, let yourself be seen, and leave with photographs that hold a little piece of who you are.
A few chapters from my own life
This life has been big. Beautiful, but big.
It always comes back to family.
01 / A little bit of here and there
Two places to call home.
I was born in Janesville, Wisconsin, in 1994. My mom’s family lived around Ottawa, Illinois, on a cul-de-sac full of my cousins, childhood memories, freshly grown veggies, and homes built by our relatives. It’s still one of my favourite places on earth.
In 1996, my parents moved my two older sisters and me across the ocean. South Australia became home, and travelling between countries became part of my life.
02 / The camera that started it
A birthday gift. A beginning.
Before our move back to the US in 2008, my dad gave me my first camera. I loved photography so much that I took the same high-school class twice. My teacher adapted the course so I could keep learning.
That curiosity took me to the Art Institute of Chicago, and eventually back to Australia after a friend invited me to her wedding. At 19, I packed my bags and crossed the world again, but this time on my own.
03 / Making the leap
A hobby became my everyday.
I kept travelling, spent six months in the UK, and kept my camera close by. At times I thought about giving up my craft, but photography only continued top grow into a part-time job, and in 2021 I finally made it my full-time work.
Since then, I’ve photographed weddings, families, couples, and brands across Australia and in the US. There’s been a lot of growing, learning, and actually... a lot of letting go along the way. My faith is part of that story, too. I see this creativity as a gift from God, one that grows and changes with me.
When we work together
Space to be yourself.
01
A familiar face.
We’ll get to know each other before the camera comes out. Your comfort matters, and there’s always room for questions, nerves, and a good laugh.
02
A little guidance.
You can count on a gentle nudge when you need it, or space when the moment calls for it. We’ll find a rhythm that feels natural to you.
03
Memories with feeling.
I’m looking for the details that will bring you back to being there.
Enough about me. Let’s talk about you.
A day full of love. A story worth keeping.
If this feels like your kind of photography, I’d love to hear what you’re planning. Take a look at the wedding experience and find a bit of inspiration for your own day.
