First things first, I’m a huge believer in self love & putting mental health first. As well as showing up for the people whose lives have aligned with mine.Â
My hope for the work I produce is that the happiness I feel is portrayed within the images I capture, and share with you all.Â
My photography journey started long before my plant obsession did (but both are equally as important). I’ve been photographing weddings since 2012, and families for even further back.Â
My biggest lesson learned in this time, is that at the end of the day we all want to feel accepted, loved, and celebrated during both the big and little momentsÂ
If you’re here, you probably already know that I have a big personality and a whole lot of stories to share. Since you’re going to be telling me about yours, I’ll tell you a little bit of mine!Â
I moved to South Australia from the US when I was just three years old. I was raised by my single Mom alongside my two older sisters. We have always been a team no matter what oceans divided us throughout the years – my family are my best pals.Â
We’re also absolutely bat shit crazy when we’re together. We crank the music, crack a bottle of red, and laugh until the sun comes up. My love for family eventually extended to taking family portraits, followed by couples shoots, weddings, and self love/branding photography.Â
My mom taught us girls to never settle for anything that didn’t make us 100% happy and encouraged my dream of becoming a photographer since day dot. She also ingrained the quality of following through with your word which A) means I show up for you and B) means I show up for myself. Both I feel are the most important parts of running a successful and trustworthy business.Â
So here we are, eleven years of photography, two years of being full time, countless moves across the world – and i’m living my absolute dream of creating art with you all.
